All I Have to do is Dream...

I spend a significant amount of time in the kitchen. Unfortunately, my kitchen is small and ugly. White formica cabinets and countertops = pathetically drab! However, that’s not the worst of it - check out the floor...

There aren’t enough words in the thesaurus to accurately describe how hideous this floor truly is. I can’t begin to fathom why:

1) this pattern was ever drafted/created.
2) it was approved to be manufactured.
3) someone would actually pay for this and have it installed.

Seriously? Several people must have been drinking the “special Kool-Aid.”

I’ll have to live with it for another few years at least (we currently rent and I’m 99.9% confident the landlord has no intention whatsoever of remodeling the kitchen). In the meantime I'll dream of my ideal kitchen...
